Minecraftis just one of those things that’s become bigger than its original source material. From its humble days as an indie game created by one person toone of the biggest gaming franchises in history, it’s grown into quite the behemoth over its 15-year lifespan. And now it’s coming to reality. According to a recent report fromTheGuardian, Minecraft is getting not one but two theme park adaptations. Helmed by Merlin Entertainment – responsible for Legoland, the London Eye, Sea Life, and many more attractions – there will be one park in the UK and one in the US, both styled after the game....

At a press conference this morning in Las Vegas, Namco Bandai officially announcedDark Souls: Prepare to Die Editionfor PC. Hidetaka Miyazaki, Director at From Software, was on hand to give some early details for this release. Grateful for al the feedback from the console version, From Software is taking all they’ve learned from fans to shape this Windows PC release. There were no plans for a PC version at first, but with the support of Namco Bandai and game fans they’re glad to be showing off their early plans for one....

Apex Legends News Get ready for a brand new Apex Legends mode in Season 26, Wildcard. Apex Season 26 is adding a brand new, and permanent game mode to Apex Legends called Wildcard. It’s been a long time since we saw a new mode added permanently, not as an LTM at least to start. This shows how confident Respawn are about the mode, and for good reason. Wildcard is insanely fun and is one of the best additions to Apex Legends in the games history - even better than the hugely popular Three Strikes LTM....

Lolo, Ninja Gaiden, Wario’s Woods Adventures of Lolowas probably the first game to ever truly stump me. I figured out quickly that for JRPGs likeDragon Warrior, all you really needed to do was grind out levels and find the end of the labyrinthine dungeon mazes to win, but as a tried and true puzzle game you couldn’t brute forceLolo. It still stumps me today for that matter, and now I’ll get the chance to (more easily) tango with it when it hits the Switch next week....

Lawsuits ain’t cheap Nintendo acquired the entire patent portfolio of IA Labs in a sheriff’s sale this week in Montgomery County, Maryland. The transaction came about as the result of unsuccessful litigation on the part of IA Labs. In 2010, IA Labs filed a lawsuit in 2010 which alleged that Nintendo infringed upon its patents by developingWii FitandWii Fit Plus. When Nintendosuccessfully defendedthis allegation at court, IA Labs appealed. The trial court’s original ruling was upheld in June 2013....

Closer to final build We aren’t quite done with new information aboutOctopath Traveler. While Nintendo didn’t show any extra footage or even clue us into details, they did announce that a new demo will be available on the eShop this week. Launching on the 14th, the “Prologue” demo will include the first chapter of all eight main characters’ stories. You’ll even be able to transfer your save data to the main game when it launches next month....
