‘10000001’ too on-the-nose
You Must Build a Boathas been in the works for a while. Originally planned as a free update to hit match-three puzzle game10000000, it eventually ballooned into something big enough to be its own thing.That was more than a year ago.
After that long wait,You Must Build a Boatis finally ready to release on Android, iOS, Linux, Mac, and Windows. In addition to the row-sliding match-three gameplay, it will have boat-building (naturally), monster-catching, and dungeon modifiers that add some spice between dungeon runs.
Destructoid reached out to designer Luca Redwood to ask about its status as a free game for10000000owners. Redwood confirmed that he still plans on getting it to owners of the previous game for free, though it will be difficult depending on the platform. He also said that it would be an opt-in procedure, because some fans expressed interest in paying forYou Must Build a Boatjust to support the developer. It’s only three dollars, after all.
