Acheron is an upcoming 5-star character in Honkai Star Rail that is the first to not use an Energy bar. She was first teased by the developers at The Game Awards 2023 on Dec 8, but will enter the game in Version 2.1 on March 20. Here’s everything we know about Acheron.

Acheron will be an incredibly powerful character, and she is the first character in Honkai Star Rail to not require Energy to cast her Ultimate ability. Instead, Acheron’s ultimate is unlocked when she acquires a certain number of charges ofSlashed Dreams. Play your cards right, and you may gain those stacks incredibly quickly.

Slashed Dreamscharges are acquired whenever Acheron casts a Skill In addition, whenever any target takes action that casts a debuff on an enemy or themselves, Acheron will gain one charge of Slashed Dreams. This includes enemy abilities that consume nearby targets (such asFrigid Prowler) or the debuff applied when your party breaks monster weaknesses.

What are Crimson Knots? (Acheron Debuff)
Acheron’s Crimson Knots are a passive debuff inflicted on enemies by Acheron. They will be “removed” by Acheron when she uses her ultimate. Essentially, Crimson Knots mean Acheron will deal bonus damage to enemies she has already targeted this battle if she attacks them during her Ultimate.
If you kill an enemy with Crimson Knots still on them, Acheron’s talent will transfer them to the enemy with the most current Crimson Knot Stacks, so they won’t be wasted.
Acheron abilitiesin Honkai Star Rail
Basic Attack:Trilateral Wiltcross - Deals Lightning damage equal to 50% of Acheron’s attack to a single enemy.
Skill: Octobolt Flash- Acheron gains one point of Slashed Dream, inflicts one stack of Crimson Knot on a single target enemy, and deals Lightning damage equal to 200% of her attack to that enemy, as well all Lightning damage equal to 75% of her attack to adjacent enemies.

Technique:Quadrivalent Ascendance - Acheron attacks an enemy, and at the start of the battle she gains two stacks of Slashed Dream and deals Lightning damage equal to 200% of her attack to all enemies, and reduces the Toughness of all enemies, regardless of their weakness.
When Acheron inflicts Weakness Break, the Lightning Weakness Break effect is triggered. Additionally, the next time Acheron uses her Ultimate, she gains one stack of Slashed Dream and inflicts one stack of Crimson Knot on a single random enemy.
As a bonus, if a normal enemy is attacked, they are immediately defeated and you wont enter combat. The Technique point is not spent if the attack doesn’t hit an enemy.
Fun fact: You also still get the rewards. This Technique can also be used to insta-kill enemies in the Simulated Universe. (confirmed by devs)
Acheron’s Ultimate explained - Slashed Dream Cried in Red
Acheron Ultimate:When 9 Slashed Dreams charges have been gathered, Acheron can cast her ultimate Slashed Dream Cried in Red. This means Acheron does not have an Energy Bar. During her ultimate, Acheron’s appearance will transform, illustrating her shift in power. Time will also slow down.
Acheron’s Ultimate is unique in that it deals 4-hits, with the player able to manually choose the individual targets of the first 3-hits. The 4th and final hit will deal damage to all enemies.
Talent – Atop Rainleaf Hangs Oneness:When Slashed Dream reaches 9 point(s), Acheron can caster her ultimate which deplete enemies' Toughness regardless of Weakness Types and reduce all enemies' All-Type RES by20%until the end of the Ultimate.
When any unit inflicts debuffs on an enemy target while using an ability, Acheron gains 1 point of Slashed Dream and inflicts Crimson Knot on the enemy target. This effect can be triggered up to 1 time per action. If the used ability inflicts debuff on multiple enemies, 1 stack of Crimson Knot will be inflicted on the enemy with the most Crimson Knot stacks.

Acheron will be released on June 24, 2025 during Phase 1 of Honkai Star Rail version 2.1Into the Yawning Chasm. Acheron is an extremely powerful 5-star Lightning character on the Path of Nihility.
Who is Acheron In Honkai Star Rail?
Acheron is an upcoming playable 5-star Lightning character on the Path of Nihility who is expected to be released in version 2.1. Acheron appears at the start of the new Penacony storyline which MiHoYo confirmed will run from version 2.0 to 2.3.
Through a dream sequence we learn that Acheron has been invited to Penacony by The Family, the rules of the planet. Acheron shares that she is a Galaxy Ranger, responsible for wandering marshal delivering justice.
Acheron is not forthcoming with more information about herself, but through the story we learn something is clearly amiss with her. She hints at issues with her memory, perhaps the doing of divinerBlack Swan?
Voice Actor
The English voice actor for Acheron in English is Allegra Clark, who is also the voice of Beidou in Genshin Impact. The Japanese voice actor for Acheron is Miyuki Sawashiro, who interestingly voiced both Raiden Mei in Honkai Impact 3rd and Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact, two characters that Acheron has been compared to.
