The location is finally revealed.
EA have revealed that the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs will be held at theGalen CenterinLos Angeles, California. The event will run between May 2-5. Teams will be fighting for both a share of $1 million and valuable Playoff Points.
The announcement came at the start of the broadcast for the ALGS Regional Finals, which will settle exactly who competes at this event from both North America and EMEA.
ALGS heads to Los Angeles
The ALGS Split 1 Playoffs will be held in Los Angeles, California. TheGalen Centerwill play host to the 40 best Apex Legends teams in the world.
This is the first ALGS event outside the United Kingdom since July 2022. While all three LAN events were fantastic last year, it feels right that the ALGS is visiting other countries besides the United Kingdom in Year Four.
There also is only just over 40 days to wait until action begins. The first day of competition in Los Angeles will be on May 2.

Like all three Year 3 LAN events, the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs will have a live audience. The ALGS Split 1 Playoffs will feature a community area with player meet-and-greets. EA also promise more features to “bring fans closer to the action.”

The ALGS Split 1 Playoffs will follow the same format as last years events. The Group Stage will lead into a Double-Elimination bracket. The finals will follow Apex’s trademark Match Point format.
