In a game as massive asBaldur’s Gate 3, it can be a mystery if you’ve seen all there is to see. Between story quests, sub-quests, and the occasional conversation between party members, there’s a ton of content and — to be honest — not a lot of time to spend exploring the world.
Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3) Act 2 Main Quest List
It should be noted first that Act 2 plays out very differently depending on your choices to this point. So, we’ll be pointing out if certain quests are mutually exclusive. Here are all the main quests in Act 2 ofBaldur’s Gate 3:
This sub-quest covers from the moment you first encounter the convoy to either defeating or defending the convoy andsecuring a Moonlantern.
This sub-quest is only applicable if you decide to defend the convoy and follow it to Moonrise Towers.
This sub-quest has two sides to it — if you’re able to defend Isobel when Marcus comes to abduct her, you can avoid this sub-quest altogether.
It would appear this sub-quest is an alternative means of ending up atthe Gauntlet of Shar, if you are siding with Ketheric and the Absolute.
This sub-quest mostly deals with your decision to either save or kill the Nightsong in Act 2, but it won’t be completed until you face off with the wizard Lorroakan in Act 3’s Lower City.
This sub-quest will come as a result of sending Ketheric Thorm back to his grave.
