Battlefield 6 is set to release on October 10 with a total of 9 multiplayer maps and 8 different modes coming at launch.
July 31 saw a full reveal showcase for Battlefield 6, which confirmed maps, modes, and a release date for the title. All eyes turned to the BF6 Twitch and YouTube platforms as they took viewers on a journey through the franchise’s next title. Alongside Portal, the game will release with 9 multiplayer maps. As well as 8 of the best and most well-known modes from previous titles.

Battlefield 6’s multiplayer reveal confirmed the release date for the game, as well as a double open beta weekend in August 2025.

All Battlefield 6 maps and modes confirmed
The eyes of the Battlefield faithful turned to Electronic Arts reveal for the franchise’s next title on July 31. The developers showed off the return to the class system and some of the guns that would be released. Alongside this, the long-awaited homecoming for all-out destruction was announced. Going deeper into the new game, they revealed a plethora of maps and modes coming with the release.
In total, they revealed 9 maps coming with the release of Battlefield 6. The list of maps is:

Having shown off a few of the maps during the showcase, the return of Operation Firestorm was a very big moment. Following up on that, the game will also have a total of 8 modes, many of which we have seen throughout the franchise’s history.
