Jason Chen has over 60,000 gamerpoints on Xbox Live . If he gets as hooked onBooyah Society , the raw iPhone app that gives you points from doing basically anything , he ’s in trouble .
Booyah Society gives you point for everything from going to a new eating place to hit the gym to buying a newfangled pair of shoes . It ’s a neat idea , I imagine , but it feels too broad to really sour . After all , what are you work towards ? With gamerpoints , it ’s fully nail a game . With the similar - yet - narrowerFourSquare , it ’s survive out and try out new bar and eatery . But this is just trying to get you to do basically anything . I appreciate that it ’s fun to feel like you complete something when you buy a Modern shirt , but I do n’t know if buying shirts gets me towards some end or completion .

But hey , I ’m not the target for this . I say we give this to Chen and see how much more often he goes to the lav when it state him he gets 20 full point per waste-yard . [ iTunes Link ]
