There will be 16 teams playing at CS2 BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024. For 10 of them, the tournament is kind of a bitter experience — an opportunity to recover after unsuccessful Fall Groups. But for the rest, it’s a reward for great runs in smaller leagues — with the hope to ignite the fire of a new big CS2 breakthrough.

BLAST Fall Showdown 2024: Schedule and format
The schedule of CS2 BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024 is in the table below. The tournament format is single-elimination best-of-three (Bo3) matches, so there is no second chance for the losers. Only two finals qualification spots are available, and 16 teams have to make it through three rounds to win one.
Round 1 (Bracket 1)
Even if the tournament has no groups, the competitive brackets are divided into two parts: eight teams in each proceed through stages playing against each other.

Seeding in the brackets is quite important at this CS2 esports tournament. First of all, six participating teams come from smaller leagues in their regions — who of the top-teams they face in Round 1? Then, the organizations from Fall Groups also may get tougher situations, like HEROIC and OG, who face each other in Round 1 instead of someone from a smaller league.
In Bracket 1, we have FaZe Clan and Ninjas in Pyjamas, who were in one group, and NiP eliminated FaZe from BLAST CS2 Fall Groups. OG and Cloud9 didn’t win a single match at that tournament. HEROIC were out after Round 2.

In Bracket 2, Complexity feels like a favorite. They reached the Play-In stage at Fall Groups, and they looked quite good against Spirit, the group winners. Team Falcons was stopped by Astralis back then in Round 2. BIG defeated Virtis.pro in their group, but were then eliminated by NAVI.
