What happens when you takeAlien‘s “in space no one can hear you scream“setting, fuse it together with the vomit-inducing creatures fromThe Thing, and add a layer of interactivity that cannot be found in either of those movies? You getDead Space, a third-person survival horror title by EA Redwood Shores.
The latest trailer forDead Space, which can be found above, shows us a couple of things. First off, the game’s release date is set for October 31 (Xbox 360 and PS3). And secondly,Dead Spacelooks like it could not only be very tense, but possibly even creepy, or dare I say it, scary.

While we may not knowexactlyhow chillingDead Spacewill be until Halloween, there’s always the prequel comic book to tide us over until then.
