It’s that time again. There’s a new raid inDestiny 2, Salvation’s Edge, and that means a raid race for the world’s first. Fireteams across the globe will take on the Witness and one another for bragging rights while supporting Guardians cheer them on. Here are the details on when and how to participate.

I live my raid races a quarter mile at a time

The Final Shaperaid racekicks off three days after the release of the expansion itself. That’s 72 hours to work through the campaign, an Exotic quest, and reach 1965 Power Level. It’s a tight window, to be sure, but glory awaits the team that can emerge victorious.

Salvation’s Edge: The Final Shape raid race schedule and requirements

For those not participating in the Salvation’s Edge raid race, it can be viewed through Twitch Rivals. To sweeten the deal, Bungie and Twitch will be offering three in-game emblems. Be wary of watching the race if you haven’t completed the campaign yet as there will be story spoilers.
