Talking to Entertainment Weekly ’s Michael Ausiello , Alan Tudyk confirm that Alpha will be back for the end of Dollhouse ’s second time of year , enunciate ,
We ’ve kind of been back and forth about [ how many episode I ’ll come along in ] . I ’ve been a little busy … I imagine I ’m going to be in the last few episodes , three or four episodes of the season … What is Echo without Alpha ?
Whedon has previouslysaidthat Alpha was going to be “ used sparingly ” in the 2nd time of year , but with part of the running report of the season being that Eliza Dushku ’s Echo is ego - mindful and able to get at multiple personalities , it pull in some sense that the equally - complex Alpha would re-emerge as the season build to a climax . But does this intend that we ’re in for more “ Oh , he scarper because I , who should have mad ninja skills , dead need a man to deliver me ” disappointment ? Here ’s hoping that Echo ’s a fiddling act more ego - sufficient for the rematch .
