In Schedule I, console commands are incredibly useful, whether you want cheats or not. There may even be a command to help you run the game better! Check out all of the essential Schedule I console commands you need to know.
How to turn on the Console in Schedule I
Before you get to typing your console commands, you first have to enable it. Luckily, this is as simple as it gets.
Go to the Settings (if you’re not in the main menu, press Escape to gain access to the menu).
The first thing you’ll see is a toggle to enable the console. When it’s enabled, you can press the tilde (~) key anytime in-game to enter commands.
Schedule I console commands
The most important one to know iscleartrash. It clears all garbage items in the entire map, and it can improve your frames by a ton. Just type it in and hit enter, and (hopefully) your performance will skyrocket. Whether this is a cheat or not is up to you, since it completely eliminates the need for a Cleaner on your properties.

Lastly, if you feel the need to use cleartrash (or any command, really) often, thebindcommand is really useful. To use it, have a key and a command in mind. For example, to bind cleartrash to the F1 key:

If you want to remove the bind, simply useunbindorclearbindsto clear all binds.
Note that binds do not carry over play sessions. Once you close the game, you lose all binds.
