I take on it ; I did n’t believe it at first , but it ’s begin to look like a holograph is just a holograph , and sure changes made in SciFi Channel ’s Eureka recently are really going to stick . Godhead of the show have been tattle about the permanency of said changes over on the Eureka Unscripted web log , as well as who – and what – lies in store to fill the disruption they ’ve left . freebooter under the jump . Nathan Stark come along in episode two of our first season ( “ Many Happy Returns ” ) and his theatrical role experience a lot of growth in his 30 episodes . He proceed from being head of Global Dynamics , Allison ’s ex - married man , and Carter ’s nemesis , to losing his line of work , bring home the bacon back the girl , and , in the end , do peace with Carter in their competitor for Allison ’s affections . I loved watching his role suffer a keen tumble , then slowly climb his way back to the top . We got to see Stark in a different light , which for us as writer ( and , hopefully , for you as the consultation ) only deepened our connectedness to him . Stark was a guy wire you love to hate , or hated to bang , and his bequest will survive on even as we bring in newfangled character and dramas for our hoagie to contend with in the next one-half of the season . Many thanks to Ed Quinn for his commitment to making Stark the better he could be .
But , waitress ; he ’s really proceed ? It ’s not a Battlestar Galactica - esque fake - out for bring the character back afterwards in the season ? Curtis Kheel , who wrote the most late episode , does n’t seem to think so :
As for whether Nathan Stark will make next appearances in “ Eureka , ” there are presently no plans . However , like I say , on “ Eureka ” you never know when someone might show up again from the stagnant . We gain that some fan are disquieted about the loss of his character , but I can guarantee you that the legacy of Nathan Stark will continue to be a part of our serial publication . He will not be forgotten .
With Stark snuff it and Eva Thorne ’s mystical schedule soon to be revealed , we are now immersed in what we affectionately bear on to as time of year 3.5 , the back 13 episodes of our 21 episode monastic order . I can promise you that there are big surprises in store … Part of the challenge that we face is craft a young mystery / mythology for the back one-half , and this one is unlike anything we ’ve done so far .
fortuitously , they have some unexpected help , in the form of a new author joining the show : Joan Weiss , who worked on Journeyman and is therefore alright with us . Show stars Colin Ferguson and Joe Morton will also be take on new character in the final 13 episode of the time of year , both try out the conductor ’s chair to see how it feels . And , as for that new mythology mentioned above ? Perhaps it has something to do withthis on the face of it random tease :
