Portland, Oregon’sHeathman Restaurant & Bar— where Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dorman) share many romantic trysts — is giving guests a glimpse into the world ofGrey.
Get in the moodfor the moviewith a dinner for two (grey-tied servers included). On the prix fixe menu: Aphrodisiacs, of course. Pacific oysters, wild salmon and an array of chocolate-y desserts, plus steak frites, bacon wrapped venison and a specialtyFifty Shadescocktail (handcuffs also included). And, an added bonus: Dinner comes with two theater tickets.
And for those who get, um, tied up, the elegant hotel offers a two-night stay complete with a bottle of white wine,Fifty Shadesbook and grey tie. The packages begin on Valentine’s Day weekend and are offered the following weekends in February.

50 Shades of GinServes 11/2 tangerine (cut crosswise)1 1/2 oz. gin1 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Sour Elixir (see recipe below)1/2 oz pomegranate juiceGarnish: fresh thyme sprig
Fresh Lemon Sour Elixir (Makes 2 cups)1 cup fresh lemon or lime juice, or 1/2 cup of each1 cup simple syrup*
1.Squeeze tangerine, drop into a pint mixing glass. Measure in gin, pomegranate juice and lemon sour. Fill with ice, cap and shake vigorously. Strain drink into a coupe-style glass. Garnish.
2.In a large jar with a lid, combine ingredients. Cover and keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks, or freeze.
Note: Simple syrup is available at bar supply stores. Or, to make it, combine 4 cups sugar and 1 quart water in a heavy pan. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool. Bottle and store at room temperature until needed. Keeps indefinitely.
