After the dad-to-be toldDeGeneresthat he and wifeHayleywere finding out on Friday whether they were expecting a little brother or sister for their daughterOlivia Rose, 13 months, the host pulled out an envelope with the results and let him know he would be finding out right then!
Kelley and DeGeneres then pushed a big red button, which set off a pair ofcannons that sprayed blue confettionstage. The couple shared a big hug after the reveal, with Hubbard saying excitedly, “This is so unexpected!”

“The Hubbard family is growing,” hecaptioned a photo ofthe sweet moment on his Instagram account. “We are excited to share that little nugget #2 is on the way. We are so thankful and can’t wait to see Olivia be a big sister. What do y’all think … boy or girl?”

While it’s unlikely their sex reveal is wrong this time, the spouses got a big surprise ahead of Olivia’s birthwhen they learned she was a girlafter initially thinking they had a son on the way due to a clinical error.
Hubbard and Hayley revealed the sex of theirfirst child on the wayas a boy during a Dirt Bikes or Diamonds party in June 2017, sharing photos from the event with PEOPLE at the time. However, the spouses revealed on Instagram in August of that year that their bundle of joy was actually a girl.
“[Whoa] … so many emotions but really really excited about this next chapter even if God does like throwing us a curve ball every now and then,” he added. “Just keeping us on our toes.#daddysgirl“
