Learn everything you need to know about Fortnite x Coachella 2023!

The Fortnite x Coachella collaboration is back for the second consecutive year. Last time, Epic Games unleashed new in-game Coachella-themed cosmetics and Icon Radio music. 2023 brings all this and much more, including new cosmetic styles, a Coachella island, Quests, and free rewards.

Fortnite x Coachella Island details

Coachella Island (code 5449-4207-1280) goes live on April 13 at 3 p.m. EST. This creative map rolls everything you could imagine about Coachella into one immersive experience.

Created by the Art Park team, the Fortniteblog postdescribes Coachella Island as an “artistic adventure” with mini-games. The creative map features songs from Coachella 2023 performer Porter Robinson.

Fortnite also included a photosensitivity warning to players, so keep that in mind before joining.

Complete Coachella Quests for XP and cosmetic rewards

What collaboration would be complete without Quests and free rewards? Beginning April 13 at 3 p.m. EST, you can complete challenges to earn XP and Coachella-themed cosmetics. On April 21 at 12 p.m. EST, a second round of Fortnite x Coachella Quests will go live.

You have until April 28 at 12 p.m. EST to complete these challenges. Below you will find a list of the cosmetic rewards available to unlock:

In addition to the Quests above, you can complete an in-game challenge to earn the Coachella Island Loading Screen. To do this, you must follow the instructions below to activate the Quest:

The challenge is to ride a vehicle in Battle Royale or Zero Build for 1,000 units of distance from April 13 to April 23. After completing that Quest, you will receive the Loading Screen above.

The Alto and Lyric Outfits from last year’s Fortnite x Coachella collaboration return to the item shop on April 13 at 8 p.m. EST. The two come with a Sunset and Desert Dawn alternate style this time. These outfits are reactive to music as well, perfect for Coachella.

Fortnite also collaborated with Coachella 2023 artists Burna Boy and Bad Bunny for the “Ask Me” and “Slide Stride” Icon Series Emotes. These will also be available in the item shop.
