Friday the 13th: The Gameis already one of the early sleeper hits of 2017, thanks to itsfresh asymmetrical multiplayerand its strength as an adaptation of the classic movie franchise. Now, its developer is asking fans for help as it attempts to add another level of fidelity to the films it’s based on.
At present, the range of victims that players use when they’re notdonning the Jason maskare generic archetypes. However, Gun Media wants to add Fox fromFriday the 13th: Part 3to the game, modelling her appearance on original actress Gloria Charles.

Charles passed away in late 2016, so the intention is to memorialize her with an appearance inFriday the 13th: The Game. Unfortunately, there’s a snag in the plan — Gun Media can’t track the correct member of the actress' estate to ask about including her likeness in the game, so it’s asking fans to pass on any information they might have.
“The fans built the films and our game, so we’re going back to them to ask another favor,” commented Gun Media’s Wes Keltner. “Help us locate her estate and pay tribute to Gloria Charles. We realize this is a small gesture, perhaps trivial to some… but to us and all the F13 fans out there, it’s more than that.”
It’s no secret that the team at Gun Media are huge horror movie buffs who are eager to imbue every last inch ofFriday the 13th: The Gamewith references to the movie franchise. For instance, the studio commissioned horror icon Tom Savini to design one of theexclusive pre-order skinsthat are available in the game.
It remains to be seen whether or not Gun Media will be able to track down the contact they’re looking for — but with the support of the film franchise’s passionate fanbase, they’re in with a chance. Anyone with any leads is encouraged to get in touch by emailing f13game@fearthegun.com with the subject line Gloria Charles.
Friday the 13th: The Gameis available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
