One gamer recently received an incredible miniature replica of theXbox Series Smade from German chocolate. TheXbox Series Smay not be universally beloved, given its reduced performance and dependence on digitally downloaded games. However, most people like chocolate, and the level of detail makes this a genuinely impressive piece of candy.

The Xbox Series S is the scaled-down budget version of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X console. Released alongside the Series X in November 2020, it is both physically smaller and typically retails for about $200 cheaper. However, this comes at the cost of significantly reduced storage resolution, performance, and the lack of an optical disk drive. Still, theXbox Series X offers a meaningful upgrade to the Xbox Oneand is a good option for fans on a budget.

Most game consoles are not edible, though that’s not universally true, with examples including theXbox Series S cake one fan received in May. Reddit user Sankobal shared a photo of another edible console in the form of a miniature Xbox Series S made from German Chocolate. Made by Schubert’s chocolate factory in Munich, Germany, Microsoft sent out the novelty sweet as a Christmas present for gaming media and content creators in Europe. The chocolate is impressively detailed despite being small enough to fit in the palm of Sankobal’s hand.

Sankobal’s photo focuses on the back of hisedible Xbox console, showcasing some of the chocolate’s finer details. Series S users may recognize the various plugs, slots, and vents, as well as the box for the console’s Electronic Equipment label. However, the chocolate’s most notable feature is the console’s iconic circular vent, with each hole cut out individually. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to tell from this picture if the chocolate also recreates the side vents or other details.

Sankobal hadn’t yet started eating the Xbox Series S chocolate before sharing the photo. Therefore, the Reddit user couldn’t answer questions regarding whether it was solid chocolate, hollow, or had anything inside. However, the size, level of detail, and the fact that it had to be shipped long distances seem to indicate that it is a solid piece.

Users on r/gaming were mostly intrigued by the unique chocolate, though a few people were suspicious of Microsoft’s sendingChristmas giftsto the media. One commenter also noted that this is a step up from earlier Microsoft Christmas gifts. Previous examples have included a pizza kit that shipped in multiple boxes arriving on different days. Another year, Microsoft sent out bottles of the French vodka Grey Goose that come with a flask disguised as a container of sunscreen.
