Grasshopper Robot Granted Wings, Learning to Fly

It was n’t enough to have a jumpinggrasshopper automaton , it must fly ! And the guys atEPFL ’s Laboratory of Intelligent Systemsare on it by giving grasshopper - bot wings and figuring out how to make it glide .

Made of carbon and mylar , the wings will be governable and the ‘ hopper will be able-bodied to take flight towards wanton sources . Check that out in the video below ; it soar direct into the bulb .
