Hearthstone Duels major update brings two new Heroes with multiclass capabilities. Check their Treasures and Hero Powers in this article.
Hearthstone Patch 22.2 brings a bunch of game-changing updates to Duels. Continuing the Alliance vs Horde theme, Duels players are getting two New Heroes: Vanndar and Drek’Thar. These new Heroes will have unique Signature Treasures with a brand new Key Word “Allied”. Players will be able to choose with which class they Ally to build their deck. Let’s go over the key aspects of this major Hearthstone Duels Update.
New Hearthstone Duels Heroes
RegisKillbin, a popular Duels content creator, revealed the Hearthstone Duels update happening with the 22.2 Patch. These changes will bring two new Heroes to the game with unique mechanics that will change the way you play. The Horde and the Alliance will clash yet again in Hearthstone Duels mode. With no further adieu, here you have Vanndar and Drek’Thar, the two new Heroes.
Vanndar: new Hearthstone Duels Hero
The Alliance new hero will have six new Signature Treasures that will allow players to ally with the five Alliance Mercenaries classes to build a highly synergistic deck. Once you select a treasure, you will be able to complete your deck with that class’s cards and neutrals. This might sound simple, but there is a catch. The sixth treasure will turn Vanndar into a Neutral Hero, having only neutral cards available to build your deck.
As everyHearthstone Duels character, Vanndar will also have three different Hero Powers to choose from. Players will be able to combine signature Treasures and Hero Powers at will, creating tons of deckbuilding possibilities and cool combos.
Alliance Classes:Demon Hunter, Hunter, Paladin, Priest, and Rogue.

Drek’Thar: new Hearthstone Duels Hero
On the other corner, we have Drek’Thar, the Horde faction leader, entering Hearthstone Duels. This brand new character has all the same mechanics as his Alliance counterpart has. However, Drek’Thar Treasures and Hero Powers, as you might have expected, are Horde-themed.
Drek’Thar also has three unique Hero Powers to choose from. One thing that you might have noticed from this Hearthstone Duels update is that both Heros have a Hero Power that synergizes directly with Neutral Minions. This aims to create interesting neutral hero strategies.
What else is coming with the 22.2 Patch?
According to RegisKillbin, the Hearthstone 22.2 Patch will also bring many balance changes to Duels. Furthermore, during the reveal, RegisKillbin teased that new passive Treasures are on the way.
