The latest Hearthstone patch nerfs Tidepool Pupil and Doomkin. According to Blizzard, these two cards are “leading to unhealthy play patterns” in Standard. Tidepool Pupil lets players too easily copy key cards and play them too many times in a match. Meanwhile, Doomkin is causing lots of frustration and has overstayed its welcome.

Meanwhile, in Wild, Hearthstone patch 30.2.2 addresses overpowered play patterns by nerfing Wildpaw Gnoll, Secret Passage, and Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
“The sheer volume of spells that Sorcerer’s Apprentice allows is something we think should be addressed, so we’re making it no longer go to 0. With that change, we think it’s safe to return to its original mana cost,“Blizzard explained.
