The Paris World ’s Fair of 1900 ( also known as The Exposition Universelle ) was held in Paris between 15 April and 12 November . On video display were many newfangled inventions : matryoshka dolls , Diesel engine , speak film , and the telegraphone . But more importantly , the architecture and design of this earth ’s Fair broughtthe wonderful Art Nouveau styleinto popular polish . These photograph and illustration of the Fair show why the earthly concern fell in love with Art Nouveau .

Cinéorama, an early film experiment by Raoul Grimoin-Sanson. It simulated a ride in a hot air balloon over Paris.
The system dwell ten 70 mm movie projector and a 90×9 ( 295×29.5 ft ) beat screen .
It lasted only three days , because it was shut out down by the police for safety gadget reasons : the projectors lights caused extreme heat .
