How to change character costume in Atelier Yumia
To change character costume is fairly easy but can not be done immediately. You will have to go through a few steps which we’ve outlined below which includes unlocking a feature and collecting certain materials to build a Dressing Room.
Step 1: Unlock Base Building in-game via your Atelier
You will need to unlockBase Buildingin order to construct a Dressing Room to change your costume/outfit. To do this you must:
This will take youapproximately 10-15 minutesto do after starting a new campaign. After arriving in the initial town, simply head to the Atelier on the hill top. Your Atelier is essentially your alchemist laboratory.

Step 2: Craft a Dressing Room
Now you have Base Building unlocked in your Atelier, you need to draft a Dressing Room. You will need4 Woodand2 Powderto create it. GatherWoodfrom nearby trees, andPowderfrom rocks.
IMPORTANT: You need tomake sure you place all of the Dressing Room object above ground, by default only half is above ground. If you don’t do this, you will not be able to enter the Dressing Room!
Step 3: Enter Dressing Room, change your costume
Next simply walk up theDressing Roomand interact with it. You will then be shown the playable characters you have unlocked. If you’re doing this immediately after completing the first Quest you will only be able to customize Yumia, Isla, Viktor and Flammi.
I don’t see my DLC costume in the Dressing Room
If you don’t see your DLC costume in the Dressing Room, you will need to restart the game completely. Returning to the Title Screen will not be enough to display recently downloaded DLC costumes in Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land.
How to get new costumes in Atelier Yumia
Each character has one alternate costume by default, but the free Aladiss Investigation Preparation Set andAtelier Yumia Season Passoffer additional costume options. Expect more costumes to be released in the near future.
