WhileLylecontinues to stare into the abyss in an attempt to make it stop staring back at him, here’s what’s been happening in video games:
It’s been a while since I’ve heard of a movie concept and immediately thought it would be bad, only to then watch the trailer and witness something far worse than I initially imagined. However, I’m still excited to see and own this piece of art in 4K, just to examine and break down various scenes frame by frame.

I thinkSonic the Hedgehogwill be a movie that will create content (in all its terrible forms) across the internet for years to come. It genuinely has left me wondering how this film even came to be. Did Sega or Paramount even think this looked remotely good? If it’s anything, the more Sonic goes down this route of self-aware awfulness, the more I understand and respect Nintendo’s iron will to protect its intellectual properties (despite that first stab at aMariofilm).
Discharged question of the week:Will you be checking out theSonicmovie for all the wrong reasons?
