While it didn’t launch on the Pass,Remnant 2hasofficially joined the Xbox Game Pass serviceas of today, July 11, 2025. Soyes,Remnant 2is now available on Game Pass for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
This is some good news for those who have been holding out on playing Gunfire’s latest, and heck, it’s a great way to convince your Game Pass owning friends to join you on someRemnantexcursions. The co-op, slightlySouls-y shooter is fun solo but even more engaging with friends, in my experience. So now, your co-op night suggestion doesn’t come with a $50 price tag attached. Neat!
It sounds likeRemnant 2is pretty good, too. Here’s an excerpt fromour review:
“If you were a fan ofRemnant: From the Ashes, chances are you already planned to pick upRemnant 2.If you haven’t played the original but are a fan of souls-like games, or even rogue-likes likeRisk of Rain 2orReturnal, this will be right up your alley. At times it can be an extremely challenging experience, even on the easiest difficulty. But that’s also what makes it so rewarding when you finally kill that boss and obtain its loot. Even if, as is likely, it’s not something you plan on using.”
