The Overwatch Classic No Hero Limits mode lets your team play up to six of the same hero!
Overwatch 2 launched the Overwatch Classic event on Nov. 12. However, due to overwhelming demand, the at-launch game mode, No Hero Limits, received an extension. When will this Overwatch Classic mode end? Read on for details.
Overwatch Classic No Hero Limits mode explained
In Overwatch Classic, No Hero Limits mode lets players have up to six of the same hero on a team. This is because the original release of Overwatch didn’t have hero limits, either. The original game also had offense, defense, tank, and support heroes as opposed to the modern Overwatch 2’s damage, tank, and support classifications. Therefore, players can choose any hero and role to play in Overwatch Classic. They’re not locked into a role queue at all.

When does Overwatch Classic end?
The Overwatch Classic event featuring the No Hero Limits mode now runs from Nov. 12 to Nov. 19. After that, Single Hero Limits mode will apply for the remainder of the overall event.
The Overwatch 2 announcement madeon social mediastated a final date of Nov. 18 for No Hero Limits. However, based on our experience, in-game updates typically happen on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. PT. Therefore, players will likely have until then to enjoy No Hero Limits mode.
