Here’s everything to know about the game’s base character classes plus Ascendancy classes.
According to Grinding Gear Games, the developer of the game, Path of Exile 2 features a total of 12 base character classes, with two for each combination of Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Read on for the list of all Path of Exile 2 classes, including the revealed Ascendancy classes list, and more.

Path of Exile 2 classes
The Path of Exile 2 early access features six base classes. These include Warrior, Sorceress, Ranger, Monk, Mercenary, and Witch. Meanwhile, according to the media files on the game’s official website, the other classes are Assassin, Druid, Gladiator, Huntress, Marauder, and Templar. Note that the names of these classes may change upon the game’s release.
Path of Exile 2 Ascendancy classes
Each of these 12 classes has its own Ascendancy specializations as well. The confirmed Path of Exile 2 Ascendancy classes for the base six classes include Titan, Warbringer, Stormweaver, Chronomancer, Deadeye, Pathfinder, Invoker, Acolyte of Chayula, Witchhunter, Gemling Legionnaire, Blood Mage, and Infernalist.

In terms of what to expect in the Path of Exile 2 early access in particular, players can look forward to three acts, the aforementioned six base character classes, a new skill gem system, a passive skill tree, an in-depth equipment system, plus some endgame content.
