Remember to practice social distancing though
It’s a busy morning at ChezPokémon. Not only did fans receive word of new “MOBA-like”Pokemon Unite, but the doors are now officially open atPokémonCafe Mix, which is available to download on Nintendo Switch and iOS/Android devices.
Revealed during last week’s “PokémonPresents” broadcast,PokémonCafe Mixis a fast-moving puzzler which tasks players with mix-and-matching character icons in order to build a menu for your burgeoning business. As the cafe expands in size, popularity, and staff, more and more cuddly critters will pay you a visit to enjoy a nice drink and a Dugtrio sandwich… That’s a sandwichshapedlike Dugtrio, not a literal “Dugtrio sandwich”… That would be hideous.
Before y’all get too excited,PokémonCafe Mixis a free-to-play game, which of course means that it features a slew of “energy-based” in-app purchases. Time will tell how much fun can be garnered on a daily basis before the big bucks come a-callin’, but for now I’m digging its cute, charming art style and low-impact, puzzle-based gameplay.
