On this week’sSup Holmeswe have a man who’s traveled down both the mean streets of Molydeux, and through the Metropolitan majesty of Rapture. Scott LaGrasta is a level designer at2K Marin(Bioshock 2,XCOM) and the creator of the the Molyjam titleQarrots, Wadishes, and ‘Ettuce. He has a lot of strong opinions about the pros of cons of game development, particularly regarding the direction that big budget gaming is heading. As someone who knows the industry from all sides, you’d do well to hear his words of wisdom.

You’d also do well to try to win yourself the $30 of Threadless cash we’ll be giving away this week. If you write me 3-4 line poem about a particular videogame and send it to[email protected], the cash could be yours! You’ll have to watch the show to find out what game to write about though. From there I’ll pick the best poem, read it on next week’s show, and give the cash code to the winner.
