Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that registrations are open for the Tekken 8 Closed Network Tests (CNT). This will allow invited players to try Tekken 8 early and influence the game’s development.

The Closed Network Tests will commence in sessions from July 21. The dates and session times for the tests are as follows.

CNT to feature 16 playable characters and 5 stages
The CNT will allow players to try 16 playable characters and select between 5 playable stages. Additionally, the tests will allow players to participate in the ranked matchmaking system and try Claudio, the new character.
The five playable stages include Urban Square (Evening), Yakushima, Rebel Hangar, Sanctum, and Arena. As per the press release, Tekken 8 will feature a new “aggressive” fight system that rewards an offense-oriented play style. It promises to be the most visually stunning and visceral Tekken combat experience yet. Additionally, Tekken 8 will also be the first title in the series to feature cross-play, allowing players to compete against each other across platforms.
