At first glance, the Victims have a disadvantage. Family Members have free rein over the maps and, of course, don’t have to worry about being murdered. This does not mean, however, that there aren’t ways for Victims to defend themselves and escape the property. Each Victim comes with a customizable skill tree and unique perks. See below for a breakdown of all the best Victim perks available inTexas Chain Saw Massacre.
Choose Fight
A solid team of Victims inTexas Chain Saw Massacrewill cover the bases defensively, including combat and healing. The Choose Fight perk is the best way to decapitate Family Members when they attack for a quick getaway.
Victims with the Choose Fight cansneak attack Family membersand stun them for a more extended amount of time. At Level Three, this effect lasts for five seconds, which should be plenty of time to find a hiding place or use a crawl space if going against the less stealthy family members.

Fight Back
Fight Back directly affects a Killer’s stamina levels.Victims with this perkcan trigger a Close Encounter when attacked by a Family member. Both players must spam an input; whoever does it fastest will come out on top. Victims who survive a Close Encounter can then run away more quickly because the Family member will suffer a massive shot to the stamina.

Fight Back reduces the Family member’s stamina regeneration by 50% for 30 seconds at Level Three. This can be especially damaging to them if another Victim stuns them right after.
Radar Detector
Grandpa is one of the Family member’s most significant assets. After he is awakened and fed blood, he will scream every few seconds, with the window between getting smaller and smaller as he levels up. During this scream, all moving Victims, and eventually, all Victims onceGrandpa reaches the final level, will be highlighted for everyone to see.
Radar Detector takes this and makes it useful for the Victims as well. Once it hits Level Three, all Victims will be able to see the position of every Family member for five seconds. Radar Detector has seven charges and works well against stealthy killers like Sissy.

Extra Drip
For Victims with low Endurance, speed and stamina are a problem. However, they can maximize their health by using the Extra Drip perk. Extra Drip makes it to where Victims who use a health item will continue to receive HP for a few seconds. Level Three Extra Drip provides the best help by increasing the HP by six for 12 seconds.
Victims can have two health items in their inventory at a time, so if they are attacked and escape, they can use both of these with the perk to refill their health almost entirely.

No Sell
Another perk that focuses on Victim health is the No Sell perk. In those moments where Family members are giving chase and attacking, No Sell limits their damage output by 80% when it hits Level Three.
No Sell can make all the difference between life and death, and as long as Victims are getting hit by multiple Family members, they have a highchance of escaping the encounter. This perk has three charges, so it can only be active a few times, so players must use it wisely.
