This update is nothing in comparison to what Patch 8.11 will be.

Riot Games released Patch 8.10 for VALORANT today, May 29, which focuses on updating the existing basic training tutorials for new players.

From here on now, the Welcome Contract will be different as the developers tweaked its structure to include “clearer missions and milestones” that will help new players progress in VALORANT before they start playing Ranked. The Basic Training Event will also allow players to view their progress, and understand goals at each milestone.

Aside from altering the basic training tutorials, the developers have also fixed Cypher and Clove bugs in VALORANT Patch 8.10.

Overall, this is just a small patch in comparison to the much-anticipated Patch 8.11, which Riot announced on May 21 via a dev update video. Patch 8.11 will bring on significant balance changes to VALORANT and a new map rotation afterVCT Masters Shanghaiconcludes.
