The song from theDiablo 4launch trailer is “You Should See Me in a Crown” by Billie Eilish

Blizzard might have myriad problems right now from just about every angle, but they still shelled out the big bucks to get a Billie Eilish song forDiablo 4‘s inaugural trailer.“You Should See Me in a Crown”was released in 2019 on the album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and it was one of the bigger tracks that catapulted the singer-songwriter to fame.

To say the reception has been polarizing would be an understatement. The song itself, which skews moody, fits the context of the album. But for aDiablo 4trailer — even if the meaning of the song involves iconography like blood, and the concept of biding time before a grand takeover (which could be a parallel for many demon and immortal entities in the series) — it’s a bold choice that has people talking, at the very least.
